This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead narrative-driven demonstrations that highlight Mitiga's unique value in cloud, SaaS, and identity security.
• Collaborate closely with Account Executives throughout the enterprise sales cycle, from discovery and qualification to closure.
• Drive strategies for proof-of-value, establish success criteria, create momentum, and achieve technical victories.
• Identify and influence significant events related to emerging risks and the costs associated with inaction.
• Convert technical findings into executive-level outcomes for CISOs, security leaders, and business stakeholders.
• Recognize product gaps, foster internal alignment, and address customer needs by influencing the roadmap, proposing workarounds, or strategic positioning.
• Assist partner-led initiatives through technical enablement and progression of deals.
• Uphold rigorous practices for pipeline advancement, including maintaining meeting hygiene, ensuring next-step discipline, and documenting opportunities.
• Keep abreast of developments in cloud, SaaS, and identity attack surfaces, breach trends, and challenges in security operations.
• Over 7 years of experience as a Sales Engineer.
• Experience as a cybersecurity-focused Sales Engineer in enterprise sales cycles.
• Proficient understanding of cloud, SaaS, and identity security concepts, including identity misuse, cloud attack paths, SaaS compromise, token/OAuth abuse, logging, and APIs.
• Strong commercial instincts with the capability to influence buying groups, manage objections, and instill urgency.
• Proven ability to manage complex deals involving technical teams and executives.
• Comfort in fast-paced, early-stage environments characterized by ambiguity.
• Exceptional communication skills, particularly in simplifying intricate attack scenarios and conveying business risks.
• Disciplined management of pipeline activities, next steps, close plans, deal notes, and alignment with sales methodologies (such as MEDDPICC or similar).
• Capability to proactively educate customers and articulate the necessity for action.
• Must reside in the Central U.S. region.
• Experience in selling TDIR, MDR, XDR, SIEM, or Security Operations solutions is a plus.
• Established network of CISOs, security leaders, and cybersecurity decision-makers within the U.S. market is a plus.
