This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Responsible for the development and management of customer relationships with machine manufacturers.
• Identification of new project potentials and support for technical solutions from inquiry to successful implementation.
• Generate project inquiries, coordinate internally at Kennametal, and assess offers and technical aspects with qualified evaluation.
• Present and confidently showcase developed project inquiries.
• Independently elaborate on projects, addressing both commercial and technical aspects using relevant CAD CAM systems.
• Technical introduction of existing and new products at the technology centers of machine manufacturers, as well as providing service to customers to enhance Kennametal's competitiveness.
• Market observation and contribution to ideas aimed at increasing market share.
• Several years (at least 5 years) of practical experience related to projects with OEMs and machine manufacturers.
• An established network in the field of machine manufacturers is desirable.
• Technical education with further training as a master craftsman, technician, or an engineering degree in a relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of the market and market trends.
• Excellent proficiency in both English and German, both spoken and written.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Confident and self-assured demeanor.
• Willingness to travel, including overnight stays.
