• Take the lead in resolving intricate technical challenges independently, utilizing managers and teams as strategic collaborators rather than primary support.
• Act as a subject matter expert in API data integrations and across the entire Glia product suite.
• Create and execute risk mitigation strategies to proactively identify potential risks and reduce their impact on sales outcomes.
• Appropriately delegate tasks, incorporate technical requirements into project planning, and select the most effective project management methodologies.
• Address and resolve complex client issues while promoting collaboration across departments and managing communication challenges with varied stakeholders at banks, credit unions, and financial services organizations.
• Clearly and concisely present complex information during executive-level meetings, ensuring all communications are impactful and directly align with business objectives.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of trends in financial services and customer service industries, regularly providing insights in meetings and strategic discussions.
• Cultivate and sustain deep, personalized customer relationships, utilizing these to further business objectives.
• Mentor peers and enhance the team's collective knowledge by effectively leveraging our comprehensive library of stories and case studies across the Glia product suite.
• Over 5 years of experience in a pre-sales engineering, solutions engineering, solutions architecture, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Proficient coding skills (beyond mere "technical aptitude"). Comfortable building and modifying working examples in JavaScript and HTML/CSS, and clearly explaining decisions.
• Demonstrated experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven integrations (authentication, payloads, retries, error handling, debugging).
• Proven track record of creating real technical artifacts such as serverless functions, lightweight backend services, automation scripts, or integration applets to validate workflows and solutions in enterprise sales cycles.
• Capability to convert technical concepts into business outcomes and guide both technical and non-technical stakeholders through trade-offs (security, time-to-value, maintainability, UX).
• Significant customer-facing/business-facing experience (pre-sales, professional services, implementations, solutions architecture, technical consulting, or similar). Must be adept at leading technical discussions with senior prospect stakeholders, including executive buyers.
• Excellent communication skills: adept at asking insightful questions, capable of whiteboarding/teaching, and able to present a clear perspective with executive presence.
• Familiarity with B2B SaaS products that facilitate sales/service/customer experience workflows (understanding customer service personas and the operational realities of care teams).
