This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the aerospace and defense sectors.
• Formulate and implement strategies to enhance market share within designated accounts.
• Strengthen existing partnerships while developing a pipeline of new prospects to support ongoing and future programs.
• Focus on competitor opportunities and pursue new application successes.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and program teams.
• Convert technical requirements into customized solutions.
• Conduct customer visits, presentations, and facility tours.
• Act as the main commercial and technical liaison between clients and RBC divisions.
• Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing.
• Ensure pipeline visibility through the use of CRM tools.
• Achieve or surpass revenue and growth objectives.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer programs to uncover growth opportunities.
• Share valuable insights with internal teams.
• Work collaboratively across functions to deliver effective solutions.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mandatory).
• 3–5+ years of experience in B2B technical sales (preferred).
• Demonstrated success in business development and territory expansion.
• Strong mechanical understanding and capability to convey technical concepts.
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel 40–50% of the time.
