This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Engage in discovery calls to ascertain the needs of customers, prospects, and partners, particularly during the solution phase to gain a deeper understanding of technical requirements.
• Create and deliver engaging, customized demonstrations that highlight the features of the company’s products while developing tailored software solutions to meet specific needs.
• Develop customer Proof of Concepts (POCs) that address unique requirements.
• Assist in pre-sales initiatives, product positioning, and address technical inquiries.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and other departments to align efforts and define solutions that support each organization’s objectives.
• Leverage in-depth knowledge of dotCMS technologies to drive new business opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with Sales and other teams to expand the pipeline and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Anticipate travel requirements of approximately 30% of the time.
• Over 5 years of experience in Sales Engineering roles, particularly in SaaS or related industries.
• Practical knowledge of modern Front-end technologies such as NextJS, HTML, Vue, Angular, and/or React.
• Demonstrable experience in selling to IT, Developer, and Marketing audiences.
• Comprehensive understanding of software architecture, cloud computing, APIs, and integrations.
• Proven track record in managing POCs and product demonstrations from start to finish.
• Familiarity with headless CMS, DXP, or related marketing technologies (CDP, personalization platforms).
• Practical experience with JavaScript, Docker, and CSS frameworks.
• Experience selling into regulated sectors such as Financial Services, Healthcare, Telco, or Government.
• Capability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating with partners in both partner-led and partner-supported sales strategies.
• Willingness to travel (30% of the time).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience is also acceptable.
• Desirable Additional Characteristics:
• Experience with a Content Management Platform or similar technology is advantageous.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies is considered a plus.
