This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Drive new customer acquisition and expansion opportunities by effectively communicating Cohesity’s Data Cloud offerings—covering backup, recovery, cyber resilience, and data security management capabilities to both business and technical audiences.
• Deliver expert, customized technical support throughout the sales process, including discovery, solution design, demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
• Collaborate with the Account Executive to define technical strategy for enterprise opportunities, contributing to deal progression and winning strategies.
• Assist customers in integrating Cohesity products into their current production environments, promptly responding to technical inquiries in a professional manner.
• Lead and facilitate technical engagements such as product demonstrations, workshops, white papers, proposals, and evaluations.
• Identify customer requirements and potential risk areas, shaping proofs of concept that emphasize Cohesity’s value in cyber resilience and data security.
• Aid in competitive displacement discussions by gaining insights into customer environments and effectively positioning Cohesity.
• Work collaboratively across functions with Product Management, Engineering, and Support to communicate customer feedback and contribute to product enhancements.
• Provide post-sales technical support or project assistance as needed to ensure successful outcomes and high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrated experience in pre-sales Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting supporting infrastructure, data protection, security, or cloud platforms within enterprise settings.
• Hands-on experience with backup, recovery, data protection, storage, or cyber resilience technologies across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
• Understanding of data security principles, including ransomware resilience, immutable storage, encryption, and access controls.
• Familiarity with competitive technologies and a desire to enhance competitive positioning skills.
• Experience in supporting proofs of concept, evaluations, and technical decision-making processes.
• Ability to translate technical architecture into clear customer value and business outcomes.
• Experience collaborating with Account Executives to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• Proven capability to utilize AI tools to boost productivity, streamline workflows, and aid in decision-making.
• Knowledge of enterprise purchasing processes and deal dynamics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Industry certifications in cloud, data, or related technologies are advantageous.
• Proficiency in English (ability to communicate fluently in speaking, reading, and writing in a professional context).
