This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Present technical demonstrations and presentations to clients.
• Assess requirements, create engineering designs, generate Statements of Work, Person-Time Estimates, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and proposal documentation.
• Offer technical insights during the creation of sales proposals, including the identification of equipment, contractors, and third-party vendors.
• Assist the sales process, account management teams, and delivery teams.
• Collaborate with sales staff, resellers, and customers' technical teams to identify customer solutions.
• Work alongside the sales team to discover opportunities based on complex requirements.
• Serve as the consulting resource for a professional sales team, articulating compelling value propositions.
• Provide technical direction to other members of the Sales Engineering Team.
• Design, configure, and install network infrastructure and systems using PacStar Strategic and Tactical Unified Communications Products.
• Ensure the effective delivery of products and services to customers.
• Acquire and maintain necessary technical certifications for PacStar's success.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time.
• Minimum of 5 years of successful technical experience in supporting sales of technical products in related fields.
• At least 2-3 years of proven experience in deploying network technologies such as wireless, VoIP, LAN, WAN, WLAN, security, and/or enterprise IT systems.
• Current certifications: At least one Cisco CCNP (Router/Switch, Voice, Security, or Wireless) is mandatory.
• Aruba ACMP, Juniper JNCIP, or relevant experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with network management applications like SolarWinds, SNMPc, What's Up Gold, Microsoft Management Console, or Wireshark.
• Experience in Windows security administration, including certificate management, local security policy, Active Directory, and PKI.
• Comfortable with editing XML and the Windows registry.
• Experience in fielding, training, and deploying Army solutions is required.
