• Drive new customer acquisition and expansion opportunities by effectively communicating Cohesity’s Data Cloud portfolio, which includes backup, recovery, cyber resilience, and data security management capabilities to both business and technical audiences.
• Deliver expert, customized technical support throughout the sales process, encompassing discovery, solution design, demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
• Collaborate with the Account Executive to support the technical strategy for enterprise opportunities, contributing to deal progression and win strategies.
• Assist customers in integrating Cohesity products into their existing production environments, addressing technical inquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
• Lead and facilitate technical engagements such as product demos, workshops, white papers, proposals, and evaluations.
• Identify customer needs and potential risk areas, shaping proofs of concept that demonstrate Cohesity’s value in cyber resilience and data security.
• Aid in competitive displacement discussions by understanding customer environments and positioning Cohesity effectively.
• Work collaboratively across functions with Product Management, Engineering, and Support to communicate customer feedback and contribute to product enhancements.
• Provide post-sales technical assistance or project support as necessary to guarantee successful outcomes and customer satisfaction.
• Established experience in pre-sales Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting, particularly in supporting infrastructure, data protection, security, or cloud platforms within enterprise settings.
• Practical experience with backup, recovery, data protection, storage, or cyber resilience technologies across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud architectures.
• Solid understanding of data security principles, such as ransomware resilience, immutable storage, encryption, and access controls.
• Familiarity with competitive technologies and a desire to develop competitive positioning skills.
• Experience in supporting proofs of concept, evaluations, and technical decision-making processes.
• Ability to articulate technical architecture in terms of customer value and business outcomes.
• Experience collaborating with Account Executives to support intricate, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• Proven ability to utilize AI tools to boost productivity, streamline workflows, and aid in decision-making.
• Understanding of enterprise purchasing processes and deal dynamics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively conveying technical concepts to both business and technical audiences.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to handle complex customer situations with professionalism and confidence.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Industry certifications in cloud, data, or related technologies are advantageous.
• Proficiency in the English language, capable of interacting fluently in speaking, reading, and writing in a professional context.
