šŸ“‹ Description

• Initiate connections: You will actively seek out construction teams, introducing them to Shape and organizing introductory calls that demonstrate how our product can enhance their project delivery performance. A strong affinity for cold calling is essential—you should truly enjoy it!

• Enhance our outreach strategy: Leveraging data and insights, you will consistently refine our approach, testing various messaging, channels, and engagement techniques to maximize effectiveness.

• Collaborate with the team: You will closely partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to synchronize efforts, exchange feedback, and ensure we are effectively reaching the appropriate audiences.

• Personal and team growth: We prioritize learning and development. You will have the chance to refine your sales skills, exchange best practices, and contribute to building an exceptional growth function.

• Influence our scaling process: Utilize your experience in developing outreach processes and systems to help us enhance our SDR engine as we broaden our consulting service lines and client base.


ā›³ļø Requirements

• Expertise: Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS or construction technology. You know how to engage decision-makers and guide them through the sales journey.

• Communication skills: A confident and engaging communicator. You can simplify complex ideas and make them compelling. You're comfortable conversing with both hands-on construction teams and high-level business leaders, and you build relationships with a humanistic, empathetic approach—because our customers are more than just numbers!

• Leadership qualities: You take initiative. You’re not deterred by rejection, view ā€œnoā€ as an opportunity for further dialogue, and enjoy exploring innovative ways to connect and provide value.

• Impact focus: You possess the ability to assess underlying issues, identify opportunities, and modify your approach based on effectiveness. You don't merely schedule meetings—you create access.

• Nice to Have (If you don’t have it now you will after joining):

• - Expertise: Experience with full-cycle/360 sales exposure. If you're not yet proficient in construction or digital project delivery, we will equip you with the necessary tools and knowledge to master the industry's terminology.

• - Communication mastery: A skilled influencer and persuader with an extensive network in the construction and/or tech start-up sectors.

• - Leadership experience: Early leadership or people management exposure, particularly in coaching or mentoring others. As we grow rapidly, we seek our top SDRs to step up and take on greater responsibilities. Ambitious individuals will find clear paths for advancement.

• - Impact: Beyond merely meeting targets, you will play a pivotal role in how construction teams adopt technology. The relationships you cultivate and insights you gather will help refine our approach and drive meaningful change in the industry.
