This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Design and implement strategies for lead generation and sales outreach.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for prospective clients, embodying the values of ProsperOps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure sales strategies are in sync with company objectives.
• Engage in ongoing education regarding our products and the cloud FinOps market.
• Participate in relevant technology and market conferences to promote the ProsperOps brand and foster new client relationships.
• Conduct targeted research to pinpoint key prospects within our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
• Create prospecting lists of decision-makers in targeted accounts using Surfe.
• Schedule outbound meetings through diverse outreach methods, including cold calls, cold emails, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
• Organize meetings or demos between potential clients and the sales team.
• Cultivate and maintain a thorough understanding of ProsperOps' products and services for effective communication of their value.
• Qualify leads based on specific criteria such as total cloud expenditure and potential needs for cost optimization.
• Manage relationships with warm leads and provide relevant marketing materials to prospects.
• Collaboratively engage with sales, marketing, and revenue operations teams to align strategies and enhance outreach efforts.
• Monitor and manage prospect interactions and follow-ups within HubSpot.
• Take part in regular training and development sessions to improve product knowledge and sales skills.
• Offer feedback to the marketing team regarding lead generation quality and campaign effectiveness.
• Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to guide strategic approaches.
• Contribute to the enhancement of sales pitches and materials based on interactions and outcomes with prospects.
• Actively listen to prospects during interactions to gain insights into their needs and customize the sales approach accordingly.
• Showcase creativity in outreach methods, such as utilizing video prospecting and LinkedIn voice notes.
• Previous experience in sales development, especially in technology or cloud services selling to technical engineering or FinOps leaders, is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with cloud computing and financial management, or a strong willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of CRM tools (HubSpot) for efficient tracking and management of customer interactions and sales processes.
• Excellent phone communication, prospecting, and interpersonal skills, essential for engaging and building relationships with prospects.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, vital for clearly conveying the value of ProsperOps' solutions to potential clients.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities to manage and interpret prospect data and identify sales opportunities.
• A solid work ethic and the confidence to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with sales teams, marketing teams, and other cross-functional departments.
• Capacity to multitask and prioritize workload to enhance efficiency and meet sales targets.
• Effective listening skills to comprehend and address prospect needs, ensuring a personalized and impactful sales approach.
