This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nigeria.
• Lead, coach, and inspire the sales development team to consistently meet or surpass lead generation and qualification objectives.
• Track team performance through KPIs and deliver constructive feedback during regular one-on-ones and performance evaluations.
• Supervise the qualification of leads and ensure a seamless transition to the sales team in accordance with the sales funnel stages.
• Facilitate onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching sessions to enhance the sales development skills and productivity.
• Ensure precise and timely data entry in the CRM while upholding high standards of data integrity.
• Evaluate team metrics and play a role in forecasting, reporting, and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales Operations, and Sales Teams to synchronize targeting, messaging, and pipeline requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of escalation for sales development issues and eliminate barriers to performance.
• Provide market and prospect insights to relevant teams to assist in refining campaigns and product messaging.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and excellence within the sales development team.
• A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Business, Marketing, or Communications is advantageous).
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales development position, ideally with prior team management experience.
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to build rapport with decision-makers at all levels.
• Prior experience in a B2B environment and familiarity with CRM tools, preferably Zoho.
