Senior Sales Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +18 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee and expand a portfolio of emerging brands, increasing revenue through upselling, renewals, and the adoption of new media.

• Sell across the entire Instacart Ads framework — assisting brands in adopting a comprehensive view of sponsored, display, video, and off-platform solutions.

• Create data-driven business reviews and narratives that link campaign performance to brand growth objectives.

• Educate brands about the e-commerce landscape and how to position Instacart as a fundamental retail media channel.

• Maintain a brisk sales rhythm — including calls, emails, and quarterly business reviews — in a dynamic, metrics-oriented setting.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Management, Product, and Marketing teams to provide an outstanding partner experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in digital media sales, media buying, or CPG advertising, ideally in a previous quota-carrying sales position.

• Exceptional skills in data-driven storytelling, capable of translating campaign metrics into clear and engaging narratives for brand partners.

• A consultative sales methodology with a proven ability to expand accounts through education and solution-oriented selling.

• Knowledge of the wider e-commerce landscape and retail media ecosystem (experience at a retailer, DSP, or CPG brand is advantageous).

• Ability to thrive in a high-activity sales environment — you are organized, responsive, and adept at prioritizing tasks.

• Proficiency with tools such as Salesforce, Google Suite, and Excel/Sheets; familiarity with advertising platforms and AI tools is a plus.

• A genuine interest in the future of retail media and strategies for brand success within it.
