This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Korea.
• Account and relationship development and management for designated territory and customer accounts are key responsibilities.
• Develop and manage the assigned strategic account plan, opportunity winning strategy, competitive displacement plan, and pipeline development plan.
• Handle RFPs, prepare bids, follow-up, negotiate, and close sales effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create client strategies, manage client relationships, and finalize strategic client opportunities.
• Convey the business value of solutions to customers and lead the development efforts that best meet customer needs while coordinating the involvement of all necessary personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to achieve account performance objectives and fulfill customer expectations.
• Exhibit a clear understanding of customer business priorities and initiatives.
• Discuss relevant trends and priorities while integrating industry and solution knowledge.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of current usage of AspenTech software applications, identify white space, and understand competitive software usage within the account.
• Provide sales and executive management with account updates, sales forecasts, and other relevant information.
• Meet and exceed aggressive sales quotas.
• Accurately project current and future business deals.
• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in software sales or industry experience in a consultative selling role is necessary.
• Must be a strategic sales thinker.
• Familiarity with process modeling software products and services, advanced process control/real-time optimization, manufacturing execution systems, and planning and scheduling solutions is preferred.
• Knowledge of asset management and maintenance business processes is essential.
• Proven track record in solution sales with multi-year achievements against personal quotas.
• Ability to actively prospect new business relationships within existing accounts is important.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills are required.
• Self-motivated with the discipline to set and achieve goals that surpass company or manager expectations.
• Travel is anticipated to be approximately 30-50% of the time.
• Fluency in English and Korean is essential.
