This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Meet quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Responsible for identifying and expanding a pipeline of opportunities for AspenTech products within the Process industries.
• Capable of cold calling and prospecting to meet pipeline objectives.
• Oversee the daily sales process, organize account meetings, and manage sales support resources.
• Provide regular updates to sales and executive management regarding accounts, sales forecasts, and more on a weekly basis.
• Coordinate and lead cross-divisional account teams.
• Collaborate as a team member on sales initiatives involving global account opportunities.
• Build and sustain customer relationships at designated accounts.
• Maintain a strong understanding of domain knowledge and competitive intelligence in machine learning, Smart manufacturing, and IoT.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Industrial, Production, or Petroleum Engineering.
• At least 5 years of software sales experience with a proven track record of multi-year quota achievement.
• Proven success in direct sales of software solutions.
• Extensive experience in leading multimillion-dollar sales campaigns.
• Skilled in establishing and nurturing "C" level consultative relationships.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional proficiency in German is mandatory.
• Proficient with personal computer applications.
• Experience selling to clients in Oil & Gas, Chemical, or other Process industries is preferred.
• Familiarity with process modeling software, APC/real-time optimization, asset management, MES, and planning and scheduling solutions is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
