This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Cultivating business within a designated region and a specific group of accounts
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop client strategies
• Overseeing client management and closing strategic client opportunities
• Enhancing and amplifying the value delivered by AspenTech solutions to clients
• Marketing AspenTech's comprehensive software portfolio and implementation services
• Meeting quarterly and annual sales targets
• Building and expanding a pipeline of opportunities for AspenTech products within the Process industries
• Engaging in cold calling and prospecting to reach pipeline objectives
• Managing the daily sales operations and coordinating account meetings
• Providing sales and executive management with weekly account updates and sales forecasts
• Coordinating and leading cross-divisional account teams
• Establishing and nurturing customer relationships at assigned accounts
• Developing and maintaining strong domain knowledge and competitive intelligence in machine learning, smart manufacturing, and IoT
• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, industrial, production, or petroleum engineering
• At least 5 years of software sales experience with a proven history of multi-year achievement against personal quotas
• Demonstrated success in direct sales of software solutions
• Extensive experience leading multimillion-dollar sales campaigns
• Skilled in establishing and nurturing "C" level consultative relationships
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in French is mandatory
• Computer literacy is essential
• Experience selling to clients in the Oil & Gas, Chemical, or other Process industries is preferred
• Familiarity with process modeling software products and services, APC/real-time optimization, asset management, MES, and planning and scheduling solutions is preferred
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time
