Senior Reverse Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Analyze and reverse-engineer complex antibot and fingerprinting systems found on the web, including JS VMs, WASM, and polymorphic/obfuscated code.

• Develop JS function tracing, deobfuscation pipelines, and fingerprint-inspection tools to streamline reverse-engineering investigations.

• Leverage LLMs, agents, and custom automation to deobfuscate, categorize, and assess detection surfaces.

• Construct and oversee website intelligence pipelines with historical checkpoints and baseline-differencing capabilities.

• Provide context, signals, and structured intelligence to AI reverse-engineering and ban-resolution systems for autonomous case resolution.

• Transform reverse-engineering successes into robust tools, rules, and pipelines for engineers and AI agents.

• Integrate tools into the specialized browser and automation stack.

• Guide and mentor others in AI-enhanced reverse-engineering methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A hacker mindset — capable of swiftly developing proof-of-concepts and functional tools to achieve results, and comfortable with the inherent uncertainties and complexities of the work.

• Proven experience utilizing AI tools (LLMs, coding agents, automation) to enhance your engineering efforts, with a keen sense of what to automate and when.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript/Node.js and Python, alongside a diverse programming background and outstanding problem-solving skills.

• Excellent research, debugging, fuzzing, and reverse-engineering abilities, incorporating static, dynamic, and concolic analysis.

• Practical experience in reversing JavaScript VMs, WASM, and heavily obfuscated or polymorphic code.

• Comprehensive understanding of operating systems and computer networking principles.

• Proficient with tools such as Wireshark, Burp Suite, and similar for intercepting and analyzing network traffic.

• Knowledge of browser engines, browser fingerprinting, and antibot/anti-scraping techniques.

• Ability to prioritize tasks logically and with a data-driven strategy, thriving in a collaborative setting.

• Bonus: Familiarity with reverse-engineering tools like IDA, Ghidra, Frida, or Babel.

• Bonus: Experience in creating tools or pipelines that support machine learning or AI systems.

• Bonus: Proficiency in C/C++ and Rust.
