Senior Revenue Cycle Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Evaluate comprehensive Paragon revenue cycle processes.

• Examine patient accounting, charge capture, billing, and claims management.

• Determine underlying issues affecting reimbursement.

• Assist with claim reconstruction and verify financial data.

• Work in partnership with hospital leadership and interdisciplinary consulting teams.

• Record current processes and suggest operational enhancements.

• Share insights and support deliverables at the executive level.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 8 years of experience in hospital revenue cycle management.

• More than 5 years of direct experience with Paragon Revenue Cycle/Patient Accounting.

• In-depth knowledge of:

• Hospital billing operations

• Charge capture

• Patient accounting

• Claims generation

• Revenue Integrity

• Reimbursement workflows

• Exceptional communication and consulting abilities.

• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Paragon implementation or optimization.

• Background in healthcare consulting.

• Knowledge of SQL reporting or healthcare analytics.

• Experience with CDM (Charge Description Master).

• Familiarity with 837I institutional claims and clearinghouse processes.

• Preferred certifications include RHIA, HFMA, CHFP, or similar.
