This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• You will be responsible for ensuring that our commitment is upheld in the most intricate and high-risk area: revenue.
• You will manage the end-to-end ASC 606 revenue recognition process, including the deferred revenue subledger (covering license/maintenance carve-outs and SSP judgments), enforcement of GL standards for revenue accounts, and preparation of audit-ready journal entries.
• You will become a part of the Accounting Team, reporting directly to the Controller, serving as the technical authority on revenue accounting.
• You will oversee the MRR-to-deferred-revenue reconciliation and the ARR Snowball, providing the business with a clear, accounting-driven view of recurring revenue actuals.
• You will utilize various tools daily, including NetSuite, Stripe, Pigment, Ramp, Salesforce, Claude, and Cloud Coach.
• Extensive, hands-on knowledge of ASC 606, including multi-element arrangements, SSP analysis, variable consideration, and contract modifications.
• You maintain "audit-ready" as a daily standard, rather than waiting until year-end.
• You comprehend the significance of owning a named, high-risk control and take that responsibility seriously.
• You are data-driven and pattern-oriented; you create the ARR Snowball and reconciliations that transform raw data into a credible, defensible narrative.
• You perceive technology and automation as enhancers of efficiency rather than threats.
• You develop systems that avert errors before they occur.
• You link revenue accounting to the larger business narrative, collaborating seamlessly with FP&A, Sales, and Legal instead of working in isolation.
• You manage sensitive financial information and critical decisions with discretion and are comfortable being the designated owner of our most significant risk control.
• A remote-first environment - work from anywhere you feel comfortable within the contiguous U.S.
• Continuous will provide all necessary equipment for your success, including a laptop and tools, a $100/month phone reimbursement, monitors, initial gear, plus a one-time $500 stipend for additional purchases.
• 100% company-covered health, dental, and vision insurance for you and your immediate family through our competitive HSA plan, with Continuous contributing $1,800 annually into an HSA account for qualifying health care expenses.
• Fully company-funded LTD, AD&D, and basic life insurance for you.
• 401K Investment Plan via Fidelity with a 100% match on the first 3% and a 50% match on the next 4% of your contributions per paycheck. By contributing 7% or more, you'll receive the maximum company match of 5%.
• Flexible PTO and working hours to support a healthy work/life balance.
• 13 observed Bank Holidays plus 2 Wellness Days to relax and recharge.
• Investment in your professional growth with an annual Professional Development stipend of $1,000.
