Senior Revenue Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Execute month-end closing tasks for global ProSOC revenue and COGS, as well as for License & Subscriptions revenue and COGS, along with other revenue and COGS.

• Conduct intricate deferred revenue calculations.

• Distinguish revenue and expenses across various service offerings.

• Provide essential accounting support in general ledger accounting and financial analysis.

• Assess accounting treatment and classification for Leave/PTO balances, benefits, and complex revenue streams.

• Support the Senior Accountant in India by managing the complex commission payment plan for various sales roles.

• Collaborate closely with Accounts Receivable on contract interpretation, billing processes, and revenue collection.

• Safeguard the security, availability, and confidentiality of sensitive information.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is mandatory.

• CPA and/or a Master’s degree is highly advantageous.

• Over 2 years of experience in deferred revenue work within a SaaS-based company, including expertise in ASC606.

• More than 5 years of international accounting experience, encompassing work with multiple currencies and international accounting standards.

• Outstanding communication skills.

• Capability to work across various time zones and cultural settings.

• Advanced problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficient in Excel, including the use of pivot tables and graphical representations.

• Strong experience with ERP systems, including configuration work, preferably with NetSuite.

• Proficiency in identifying potential issues before they occur and developing innovative solutions.
