GOS AP Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage and execute accounts payable transactions using Yardi, ensuring both accuracy and compliance.

• Act as a point of contact between the operations team and accounting, confirming the correctness of third-party invoices.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of general ledger accounts and coordinate the rectification of coding errors.

• Collaborate with accountants and management on critical turnaround items, payment schedules, and resolving discrepancies.

• Establish and uphold organized records alongside an efficient filing system.

• Follow up on inquiries, issues, and pending invoices.

• Lead internal projects, produce reports, and deliver data-driven insights to enhance decision-making and process improvements.

• Perform additional related duties and take on extra responsibilities during peak periods.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or completion of a Trade, Technical, or vocational program.

• At least 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a related discipline, showcasing a proven track record of increased responsibilities.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems is essential, with Yardi experience being preferred.

• Strong command of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Competent use of a 10-Key computer board.

• Exceptional attention to detail, emphasizing accuracy and thoroughness in handling financial data.

• Strong customer service abilities, with a talent for effectively managing and resolving complex issues.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to prioritize and handle a high-volume workload.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, possessing strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

• Advanced verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting information in a clear and professional manner.
