Investment Banking – AI Research, MBA Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop high-level financial challenges inspired by authentic investment banking, private equity, venture capital, and hedge fund processes.

• Create intricate financial modeling tasks that encompass DCF valuations, LBOs, M&A transactions, and capital structure assessments.

• Formulate realistic investment scenarios that include incomplete information, conflicting financial signals, and intricate business factors.

• Design research tasks necessitating the analysis of SEC filings, earnings reports, financial statements, and market data.

• Evaluate the limitations of advanced AI models by examining their analytical techniques, financial assumptions, and investment outcomes.

• Produce comprehensive solutions, evaluation frameworks, and benchmarks to assess AI performance against industry finance standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or have previously completed a Top 25 MBA program, ideally with a focus on finance or investment.

• Over 2 years of professional experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Hedge Funds, Asset Management, or Equity Research.

• Prior experience as an Investment Banking Analyst/Associate, Private Equity Associate, Venture Capital Associate, Hedge Fund Analyst, Investment Analyst, or Equity Research Analyst.

• Strong technical proficiency in financial modeling, company valuation, financial statement analysis, and investment due diligence.

• Practical experience with DCF, LBO, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, or investment underwriting.

• Experience in preparing investment memoranda, pitch books, equity research reports, or presentations for investment committees.

• Exceptional quantitative reasoning, analytical judgment, and written communication abilities.

• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

• Availability to commit at least 20 hours per week.

• Submission of educational history is required.
