Senior Research Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders and experts to determine learning objectives and available resources for various projects while managing the execution of research activities.

• Partner with team leadership in research and service delivery to outline, design, pilot, and expand evidence-based digital agriculture services.

• Analyze and contextualize both external and internal evidence and insights for PxD programs.

• Supervise data management and analysis for the project, including survey creation, A/B testing, and implementation.

• Develop and ensure adherence to IRB protocols for human subject research and applicable in-country research permission regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, agricultural economics, public policy, or a related field.

• Relevant professional experience managing at least three large projects that involve the design and administration of rigorous research and/or evidence-based programs in India.

• Proficient in deriving insights from data to identify opportunities for program enhancement.

• Strong command of Stata, R, or similar software for data analysis.

• Experience in designing surveys using SurveyCTO/ODK or similar platforms.

• Comprehensive understanding of the research and program life cycle, with the capability to oversee all ground activities.

• Proven experience in managing program and/or research personnel.

• Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills in English, with a keen eye for detail and advanced writing and presentation abilities.
