Senior Research Engineer, Generative 3D

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and train models that transform intent into manufacturable geometry, targeting implicit, latent, and B-rep formats.

• Incorporate differentiable simulation and physics-based optimization into the generated shapes.

• Manage the complete training pipeline, which includes data curation and licensing, pre- and post-training processes, checkpoints, and evaluations.

• Create part segmentation, semantic classification, and spatial understanding for CAD and mesh data.

• Spearhead the research initiative by reviewing the latest advancements in the field, reproducing pertinent methods, and crafting go/no-go commercialization memos.

• Deploy models into production while monitoring latency and cost efficiency.

• Collaborate closely with the computational geometry engineer and the wider team.

• Develop AI-powered generative manufacturing tools for 3D printing, CNC, laser cutting, and various other production techniques.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in publishing or delivering generative 3D solutions utilizing diffusion or flow models across implicit, voxel, or latent-set representations, reconstruction, or latent-space optimization.

• Proficiency in differentiable simulation or physics-based shape optimization, employing finite elements or similar physics in the loop.

• Proven experience in constructing and executing end-to-end training pipelines that encompass data management, training, evaluation, and checkpoints on multi-GPU systems.

• Peer-reviewed articles published in SIGGRAPH, CVPR, ICCV, NeurIPS, or similar venues, or production models showcasing measurable outcomes.

• Strong technical writing skills.

• In-depth research capabilities.

• US work authorization is mandatory.
