This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Conduct research and manage corporate actions, loan restructures, and lifecycle events within syndicated loan portfolios.
• Ensure the accuracy of facility, issuer, and portfolio data to facilitate downstream reporting and operational functions.
• Identify and rectify data discrepancies by collaborating with agents, counterparties, and internal stakeholders.
• Analyze credit agreements, legal documents, and transaction records to guarantee precise transaction processing.
• Oversee operational controls and pinpoint risks, exceptions, or gaps in processes affecting data integrity.
• Generate and assess operational reports, reconciliations, and reporting outputs for clients and business partners.
• Aid monthly reporting cycles by pinpointing, investigating, and addressing data and reconciliation challenges.
• Document workflows and contribute to process enhancements that promote efficiency and mitigate operational risks.
• Assist in employee training, knowledge dissemination, system upgrades, and user acceptance testing initiatives.
• Work collaboratively across operations, technology, and client-facing teams to provide accurate and timely service outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field, or a comparable blend of education and experience.
• Generally, 5+ years of experience in financial services, trust operations, syndicated loan operations, or similar investment operations settings.
• Proven experience in processing syndicated loans, corporate actions, restructures, and intricate financial transactions.
• In-depth knowledge of loan accruals, payment processing regulations, and operational controls.
• Capability to read, interpret, and apply clauses from credit agreements and other legal transaction documents.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities with a demonstrated capacity to identify and resolve complex discrepancies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and financial operations software.
• Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong organizational skills and the capacity to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
