Senior Release Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold scalable pipelines.

• Create custom agentic and CLI tools to enhance build workflows.

• Serve as the ultimate authority for releases.

• Ensure adherence to release scheduling, quality gates, and compliance checks in collaboration with QA and Engineering.

• Detect, assess, and resolve environment-level issues, such as build node outages, test lab provisioning failures, and network or dependency blocks.

• Incorporate AI agents and evaluation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and log analysis.

• Engage in an agentic DevOps group focused on designing AI agents for monitoring production issues, escalation triaging, and management.

• Connect Software Engineering and QA while preserving the health of lab infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Software Release Engineering, DevOps, or Build/Test Automation roles.

• Proficient in continuous integration and delivery tools (e.g., Cloudbee, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

• Skilled in Python and Bash scripting.

• Familiarity with Ruby is a plus.

• Experience in Docker and managing container registries.

• Practical knowledge of Linux systems.

• Understanding of AI tools and agentic workflows.
