Salesforce DevOps Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain Salesforce CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.

• Oversee Salesforce releases, environment promotion, source control, and deployment activities across various environments.

• Assist with Salesforce deployments utilizing Gearset, Copado, AutoRABIT, or comparable solutions.

• Manage Git repositories, including branching strategies, repository governance, access controls, and source control best practices.

• Ensure that development teams follow source control, release management, and deployment standards.

• Oversee release governance and compliance processes to meet organizational, regulatory, and change management requirements.

• Collaborate with developers, administrators, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, high-quality solutions.

• Diagnose deployment and environment issues while supporting production releases.

• Create and maintain deployment documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.

• Propel continuous improvement through automation, DevOps best practices, and optimization of the release process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of experience OR a High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of experience in application software programming.

• Over 2 years of experience in Salesforce, DevOps, software engineering, or related technological fields (preferred).

• Proficient in Salesforce deployment and release management processes.

• Experience with Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies, SDLC, and DevOps best practices.

• Strong skills in problem-solving, communication, and collaboration.

• Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC).

• Familiarity with Gearset, Copado, AutoRABIT.

• Knowledge of Salesforce DX (SFDX), Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows.

• Experience in financial services or banking environments.

• Preferred Salesforce certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Platform App Builder.

• Additional Salesforce certifications that are nice to have: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Certified Sharing and Visibility Architect, Salesforce Certified Application Architect.

• Technical skills: Salesforce, Salesforce FSC, Git, GitLab, CI/CD, Gearset, Copado, AutoRABIT, Agile, Release Management, Deployment Automation, ServiceNow, Sandbox Refreshes, and DevOps practices.
