This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Cultivates and maintains relationships to drive direct deal flow
• Facilitates a collaborative team approach to the approval and closure of new deals
• Collaborates with designated portfolio managers, engaging with sponsors and borrowers for idea generation
• Partners with management to develop action plans that guarantee the fulfillment of objectives
• Works alongside assigned portfolio managers to ensure proactive monitoring of the portfolio's credit quality
• Remains informed about industry trends and market conditions that may affect the assigned portfolio
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred
• Over 10 years of experience in Insurance Banking
• At least 5 years of experience in commercial lending credit
• In-depth knowledge of commercial lending credit, underwriting, and loan structuring
• Strong analytical skills for understanding financial and cash flow analyses
• Proficient negotiation skills
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
• Some travel may be required
