Senior Relationship Manager, Agribusiness

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Act as the Trusted Financial Advisor and Business Partner to clients.

• Implement a targeted growth strategy and business development initiatives by establishing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the client’s or prospect’s business and industry.

• Oversee strategic matters such as capital raising, regulatory compliance, ownership transition planning, M&A, and revenue cycle management.

• Inform the client about Key's expertise and offerings in key product areas, including cash management, derivatives, equipment finance, and more.

• Engage in proactive prospecting efforts, which include identifying, qualifying, and reaching out to potential clients, as well as developing an active Center of Influence (COI) referral network.

• Recognize cross-sell opportunities and work collaboratively with other Community Bankers and Product Specialists.

• Assemble and manage cross-functional teams to promptly address customer inquiries when personal resolution is not feasible.

• Direct credit processes and ensure asset quality through underwriting, structuring, and portfolio management.

• Guide junior Relationship Managers and aid in enhancing team capabilities and performance.

• Optimize profitability of the assigned portfolio by effectively promoting the value that Key provides.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience (required).

• Over 7 years of experience in financial services (required).

• At least 1 year of formal commercial credit training and experience from a bank or financial institution (required).

• Proven track record of meeting performance targets (required).

• More than 5 years of high-performing experience delivering financial expertise, advice, and tailored solutions to commercial agribusiness and agriculture production clients (preferred).
