This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Accountable for achieving or surpassing yearly sales goals for Warn Industries products in the designated region (DETROIT, MI).
• Ensures that quality service and support are consistently available for any Warn customer within the assigned area and/or region.
• Formulates and implements a sales strategy for the designated region.
• Manages the budget for the region, ensuring accurate monthly expense forecasting.
• Provides precise forecasts for annual, quarterly, and monthly sales within the assigned territory.
• Delivers quarterly presentations detailing territory/customer performance and outcomes.
• Develops and delivers comprehensive product training sessions for all customers.
• Conducts data analysis and strategic planning concerning customer performance metrics.
• Collaborates closely with the Director of Sales to devise customer account strategies and tactics.
• Keeps all customer information up to date in the CRM system.
• Serves as a liaison by supplying data, analysis, and field insights regarding competitive products, sales activities, and promotions.
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is mandatory.
• Five to eight years of experience in sales and marketing management, ideally within an automotive, powersports, or technical consumer products company.
• Willingness to travel extensively to customer sites, trade shows, or events within the assigned territory by car and/or airplane (up to 50%).
• Familiarity with two-tier distribution, channel pricing, channel management, contract management, and resolution of routine customer service challenges.
• Capable of effectively managing multiple regional and/or national accounts.
• Proficient in interpreting customer contracts and providing guidance for reaching mutual agreements beneficial to both companies.
• Experience in developing and executing business development strategies for customers in the assigned territory.
• Skilled in creating and implementing long-term strategic business plans within the designated area.
• Ability to cultivate strategic business relationships with personnel at all levels within the assigned customer base.
• Competent in creating and executing annual sales plans tailored to the assigned channel and customer base.
• Proficient in managing the annual financial budget, encompassing travel, trade shows, co-op, and related business expenses.
• Knowledgeable in all Warn systems relevant to the position (JDE, BI, CRM, etc.).
• Proven aptitude in product presentation and technical selling.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, communication abilities, and teamwork orientation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Must be capable of working independently and demonstrate a high level of self-motivation.
• Responsible for ensuring Sarbanes-Oxley compliance in the assigned area.
