This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead, mentor, and enhance the capabilities of a geographically diverse team of Regional Risk Managers.
• Transform enterprise Value Protection, Field Risk & Performance strategy into regional objectives, yearly plans, and operational routines.
• Provide guidance to senior field leaders on intricate risk, operational, and business performance issues.
• Direct and ensure quality in regional field assessments, operational assurance reviews, audits, and corrective action plans.
• Supervise complex investigations related to financial losses, misconduct, compliance issues, associate safety, or operational failures.
• Examine operational and financial data to pinpoint opportunities for charge capture, revenue integrity, margin preservation, loss reduction, and consistent execution.
• Guide the implementation and ongoing execution of enterprise risk, compliance, safety, operational assurance, and performance initiatives.
• Create regional performance reviews utilizing dashboards, exception reporting, trend analysis, and field intelligence.
• Foster cross-functional relationships with P&O, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Medical Operations, Safety, and Insurance teams.
• Manage regional responses to significant incidents, crises, disasters, and business interruptions.
• Suggest enhancements to enterprise policies, processes, systems, analytics, training, and operational models.
• Ensure governance, confidentiality, quality, case management, reporting, records, and compliance documentation are maintained.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Criminal Justice, Safety, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in multi-site risk management, operations, compliance, investigations, safety, asset protection, operational assurance, or business performance leadership.
• A minimum of 3 years of direct people leadership experience or significant accountability for achieving results through others.
• Experience in advising senior field leaders and managing complex matters across extensive geographical areas.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, case management, and reporting tools.
• Ability to interpret dashboards and operational data effectively.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50%, work independently across designated markets, and respond to urgent situations as necessary.
• Experience with Power BI or similar analytics platforms, workflow tools, and technology-enabled risk or performance solutions is preferred.
• Twelve or more years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Professional certification such as CPP, CFE, ARM, CRM, CSP, WZ, Lean/Six Sigma, change management, or other relevant qualifications is preferred.
• Experience in building or developing field capabilities, leading crisis or business continuity responses, and implementing enterprise programs in a decentralized operating environment is preferred.
• Exceptional business and financial acumen.
• In-depth technical knowledge in enterprise risk management, operational assurance, investigations, compliance, controlled substances, safety, physical security, crisis response, and business continuity.
• Proven leadership of geographically distributed professionals.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong executive communication, facilitation, and presentation abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership in change and program implementation across multiple markets.
