Senior Regional Director – Field Based Medical Affairs, Solid Tumors

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead, manage, mentor, and develop a team of field-based Medical Science Liaisons specializing in solid tumors.

• Provide strategic and tactical guidance to ensure the MSL team effectively addresses medical priorities.

• Establish clear performance expectations, objectives, metrics, and development plans for direct reports.

• Actively participate as a member of the GMSA Leadership team.

• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and retain exceptionally qualified field medical talent.

• Support the professional growth and career advancement of MSL team members through coaching.

• Lead strategic initiatives.

• Present updates and reports to senior leadership.

• Ensure the MSL team is represented on select clinical and medical study teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of prior MSL experience, preferably in gynecologic oncology.

• An advanced degree in medical science (MD, PharmD, or PhD) is required.

• Leadership experience (whether with direct reports or as an individual contributor) is mandatory.

• A strong history of project leadership and management is essential.

• Ability to efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.

• A solid understanding of drug development and the product life cycle is necessary.

• Capacity to comprehend and translate the needs of external customers and/or internal clients into effective decisions.
