Senior Recruiter, Water & Transportation – A/E/C Industry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire recruitment process, including working with hiring managers to hold intake meetings and assisting in the creation of job descriptions, incorporating insights on compensation and market trends.

• Actively seek out and recruit high-caliber technical and professional talent within the engineering and environmental services sectors across the nation.

• Evaluate resumes and carry out initial phone interviews, delivering comprehensive written summaries for hiring managers.

• Organize and arrange candidate interviews with hiring teams while ensuring consistent communication with candidates, hiring managers, and other essential stakeholders.

• Prepare and present job offers, negotiating as needed to secure successful hires.

• Maintain accurate tracking of candidate information and progress utilizing the ATS and various tools.

• Adhere to all federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies.

• Provide an outstanding candidate experience through regular follow-up and feedback.

• Collaborate closely with the Apex Recruiting Team to meet hiring objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Recent experience in recruiting for Transportation or Water/Wastewater, Drinking Water, and Stormwater Engineers; candidates lacking this experience will not be considered.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience recruiting Water/Wastewater Engineers, Drinking Water or Stormwater Engineers, related technical roles, or Transportation Land Development, Roads, or Traffic roles.

• Experience in recruiting both Transportation and Water is strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated skills in candidate sourcing, networking, and outreach.

• A well-established network of AEC professionals.

• Strong interviewing capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in using software and computer systems.

• A self-starter with the ability to take ownership and achieve results.

• Adaptable and resilient in fast-paced, changing environments.

• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and high standards both personally and professionally.
