Senior Recruiter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete recruiting process for Commence's Public Sector Growth Team, from sourcing to contingent offer.

• Actively identify passive candidates through direct outreach, Boolean and X-ray searches, AI-driven searches, referrals, and a well-established personal network.

• Develop and sustain talent pipelines consisting of functional and technical professionals with experience in federal health IT.

• Expand a network of seasoned professionals with specialized expertise rooted in CMS, VA, DHA, and other health agencies.

• Align talent with Commence's growth strategy and active pipeline, highlighting candidates who correspond with the company’s trajectory.

• Evaluate and qualify candidates based on contract and proposal requirements, such as labor category fit, clearance status, certifications, and relevance of past performance.

• Track market trends, including competitor hiring patterns, compensation shifts, availability of clearances, and skill set demand.

• Assist in proposal staffing by pinpointing candidates who meet solicitation requirements within proposal timelines.

• Maintain precise candidate records and pipeline reporting to ensure visibility into bench depth.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of comprehensive recruiting experience.

• Direct experience in recruiting within the federal contracting sector, preferably in federal health IT.

• Proven ability to build pipelines and networks proactively ahead of demand.

• Strong proficiency in sourcing tools and techniques, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean and X-ray searches, and applicant tracking systems.

• Familiarity with federal labor categories, security clearances, and the qualification language found in solicitations and PWS documents.

• Capability to interpret a requirement, translate it into a candidate profile, and screen candidates accurately enough that hiring managers trust the shortlist.

• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of a function, with the discernment to prioritize among competing searches and proposal deadlines.
