This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers and business leaders, employing a consultative approach to influence hiring decisions, shape strategies, and align recruitment priorities with wider business objectives.
• Identify high-quality talent. You will experiment and partner with hiring managers to connect with top candidates and explore innovative channels beyond LinkedIn.
• Serve as a full-cycle recruiter, overseeing the process from sourcing and screening to managing candidates through interviews and closing.
• Manage multiple roles simultaneously. At any point, you could be handling the pipelines for several open positions with varying complexity and seniority.
• Support the development of job postings, hiring plans, and rubrics. You will collaborate with hiring managers to refine job descriptions, screening rubrics, and guide the hiring process throughout.
• Refine the recruiting process based on candidate feedback. You will enhance the recruiting experience by acting on feedback from candidates and other signals.
• Elevate the recruiting team. You will mentor colleagues, share best practices, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, raising the standards for recruiting excellence across the organization.
• Develop scalable processes. You will work on improving and standardizing recruiting workflows that can grow with the company, creating repeatable and effective practices applicable across the business.
• Promote diversity. You will seek out both traditional and creative methods to introduce new perspectives to the team and advocate for inclusive hiring practices.
• You possess experience in hiring for both Business and Technical roles at various levels, including leadership positions. You thrive on the challenge of sourcing world-class talent for difficult-to-fill roles.
• You understand the nuances of building a team from the ground up—your attention to detail and commitment to candidate experience are crucial for success. You focus on the details while keeping the overall vision in sight, recognizing that job searches can be stressful, and prioritize providing a human experience for everyone interacting with Whatnot during the hiring process.
• You are comfortable functioning as a full-stack recruiter, managing the entire candidate process from start to finish.
• You have a passion for sourcing. You take pride in finding candidates for your roles and nurturing relationships with passive talent.
• You are comfortable taking ownership. You should be at ease working quickly, managing multiple roles, and being accountable for your outcomes.
• You are exceptionally organized and able to juggle multiple competing priorities.
• You focus on data. You assess pipeline health to balance your priorities and set expectations with hiring managers.
