Senior Reconciliations and Payments Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily reconciliations by comparing bank cash with client balances.

• Identify, investigate, and resolve reconciliation discrepancies and mismatches comprehensively.

• Collaborate with engineering teams, banks, and external payment providers to address issues.

• Manage vendor, regulatory, month-end closing, and recurring reporting tasks.

• Utilize Excel and data visualization tools to track reconciliation data effectively.

• Assist in automating manual reconciliation processes using AI and other technologies.

• Handle sporadic manual money transfers as needed.

• Engage with stakeholders across engineering, treasury, and external banking partners.

• Provide coverage for a maternity leave period on a fixed-term basis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in reconciliation, payment operations, or treasury functions.

• Background as a reconciliation specialist, payment analyst, or accountant with reconciliation experience.

• Proficiency in Excel.

• Familiarity with data visualization or BI tools such as Databricks, Metabase, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.

• Understanding of payment schemes and the flow of money between banks and internal systems.

• Detail-oriented and meticulous when managing financial transactions.

• Ability to thrive in fast-paced and rapidly evolving environments.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities with both internal teams and external partners.

• Availability to start immediately or on very short notice.

• Willingness to engage in a fixed-term contract lasting approximately 5 months.

• Experience within a neobank or fintech is an added advantage.

• A mathematical or quantitative background is a plus.

• Experience in enhancing reconciliation or payment workflow automation is a bonus.

• Basic SQL or data analysis skills are beneficial.
