Senior React Native Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the modernization of mobile applications by transitioning legacy native iOS and Android apps to React Native.

• Design and implement offline-first solutions utilizing SQLite.

• Safeguard local on-device data and ensure seamless synchronization with backend systems.

• Integrate React Native with native iOS and Android device functionalities when standard modules fall short.

• Oversee the complete app lifecycle, encompassing migrations, version updates, and deployments to the App Store and Play Store.

• Enhance mobile performance across various device platforms and operating systems.

• Maintain data integrity and ensure local data retention during migrations and upgrades.

• Collaborate with a global network of engineering professionals on intricate digital transformation initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cross-platform mobile development with a focus on React Native.

• In-depth knowledge of SQLite and management of on-device data.

• Proven experience in developing offline-first applications and managing complex data synchronization.

• Solid foundation in native iOS development with Swift/Objective-C and/or Android development with Kotlin/Java.

• Established history of managing intricate app migrations.

• Experience in ensuring local data integrity during upgrades.

• Successful deployments to both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

• Skilled in diagnosing and addressing mobile performance issues.

• Demonstrates resilience, emotional intelligence, and a strong focus on agile delivery.

• Comprehensive understanding of the distinctions between coding and engineering.

• Familiarity with cloud-native principles or AI coding assistants is a plus.

• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Advanced proficiency in Spanish.
