Senior Quantum Systems Engineer – Quantum Computing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Work closely with internal teams such as product, research, and engineering, as well as external partners, to establish system requirements that facilitate fault-tolerant quantum computing.

• Create innovative strategies for real-time quantum error correction and calibration, grounded in thorough systems analysis for various qubit modalities.

• Translate product specifications into technical requirements spanning hardware, software, and firmware.

• Formulate test cases that align with technical requirements and assess test implementations for accuracy and completeness.

• Embrace a culture of teamwork, swift innovation, technical expertise, and inventive problem-solving.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience. Advanced degrees are also encouraged.

• A minimum of 5 years of post-bachelor’s experience, including roles that involve engineering responsibilities across various components of a complex hardware and software system.

• Extensive hands-on experience with actual qubits and quantum control systems software.

• A strong desire to drive technological innovations into NVIDIA software and hardware offerings to advance Quantum Computing.
