This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and conduct comprehensive testing for web, mobile, and API-based applications utilizing both manual and automated methods.
• Provide guidance in software quality assurance and release management processes.
• Develop a thorough understanding of customer use cases, workflows, and scenarios to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Create, develop, and document test cases for new functionalities, regression areas, and intricate workflows.
• Establish and implement testing strategies that address database impacts, regression, negative testing, usability, and bug retests.
• Engage in product design reviews, offering insights on requirements, design, timelines, and risks.
• Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory standards, including FDA 21 CFR Part 11.
• Identify, log, and monitor defects with developers to guarantee prompt resolution.
• Conduct risk-based testing, prioritizing high-impact areas.
• Convert requirements into effective test cases in collaboration with product managers, developers, and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior QA engineers while advocating for best practices in testing and process improvement.
• Provide feedback and suggestions regarding usability and functionality.
• Collaborate with offshore and nearshore QA and development teams.
• Build and sustain UI and API automation frameworks utilizing Playwright, Postman, ReadyAPI, Python, and JavaScript.
• Implement AI/ML techniques to enhance test case generation, defect detection, and prioritization.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of QA processes and automation efficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a comparable mix of technical education and professional experience.
• In-depth knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in SaaS settings.
• Practical experience with UI, API, and mobile automation using Playwright, Postman, and ReadyAPI.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Proficient in version control using Git/GitHub.
• Understanding of clinical trial or healthcare software workflows.
• Experience with defect-tracking tools such as Jira and AIO.
• Familiarity with test case management tools like AIO, Xray for Jira, or similar.
• Knowledge of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and automated testing practices.
• Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
• Working knowledge of GitHub and Git.
• Exposure to the Playwright automation framework.
• Familiarity with LambdaTest and BrowserStack.
• Knowledge of AI-driven tools for manual test case generation.
• Professional certifications are not mandatory; however, QAI and ISTQB certifications will be taken into account.
