Senior Quality Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance the end-to-end (E2E) and integration test suite utilizing Cypress.

• Establish automation strategies, prioritize coverage gaps, and enhance overall test coverage across the platform.

• Manage the entire bug lifecycle from initial triage to resolution in production.

• Keep stakeholders updated and ensure timely resolution of issues.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and the Data team to assess requirements and identify risks early in the process.

• Define quality standards and clarify what constitutes "done."

• Identify weaknesses in software delivery processes and implement improvements.

• Conduct exploratory testing of web and mobile features across various devices.

• Investigate AI tools and innovative testing methodologies to enhance quality operations.

• Report directly to the Engineering Manager and collaborate across the engineering organization.

• Proficient with AI tools such as Claude Code for writing, maintaining, and extending test code.

• Familiar with browser MCPs, agent workflows, and scripts for QA automation.

• Possess an automation-first mindset, capable of building robust test infrastructures.

• Maintain a customer-centric approach to testing real user experiences.

• Adaptable to changing tools, stacks, processes, and AI-assisted development.

• Collaborative and straightforward in communication with Product, Design, Engineering, and Operations teams.

• Comfortable with both reading and writing code.

• Knowledge of frontend and backend web services.

• Ability to write effective SQL queries.

• Capability to debug issues throughout the software stack.

• Eager to focus on automation development rather than primarily manual testing.

• Proficient in prioritizing and shaping processes in uncertain situations.

• Able to work with multiple testing frameworks and various components of the stack.
