This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.
• Accountable for establishing the connection and interface between Quality and Integrated Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, and customer-facing teams.
• Dedicated to facilitating flow, enhancing quality, and ensuring that Clear To Build (CTB) risks to the business are minimized.
• Serve as a tactical leader, process improvement owner, and mentor to team members, optimizing quality to ensure timely delivery for all Combat & Trainer Engine (CTE) product lines.
• Direct quality initiatives across F110 product lines by collaborating with engineering, supply chain, and product line teams at both the part-number and supplier level.
• Aid in customer delivery and performance communications by working alongside Integrated Manufacturing and the Defense Quality & Delivery Integration Leader on part-specific and process-specific deep dives.
• Formulate and execute quality strategies for critical hardware, including suppliers and initiatives that affect multiple CTE product lines.
• Identify and resolve limitations that affect Clear to Build (CTB) and Operational Output Targets (OOT) for engines and spares, employing data-driven analysis and structured problem-solving techniques.
• Effectively communicate across various functions and levels, fostering consensus and influencing outcomes within a highly matrixed environment.
• Mentor and coach less experienced colleagues, sharing best practices for defect reduction and MRB FTY.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality, Operations, Engineering, or a related technical field, or 7 years of experience in fields such as procurement, planning, manufacturing, or fulfillment.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proven capability to analyze and resolve issues using structured problem-solving methods.
• Demonstrated experience in leading programs or projects within complex, cross-functional environments.
• Established project management competencies, including planning, prioritization, and risk management.
• Knowledgeable in working within the GE Aerospace Quality Management System (QMS).
