Senior Quality Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the technical quality authority within the Development team

• Develop and implement testing strategies that align with both functional and non-functional project requirements

• Evaluate functional requirements and convert business rules into applicable test scenarios

• Design and manage comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts

• Perform functional, regression, and non-functional testing

• Identify, document, and monitor defect resolutions in collaboration with development teams

• Serve as a liaison between technical teams, Product Owners (POs), and external clients

• Participate in the ongoing enhancement of quality processes and practices

• Assist in prioritizing tests based on risk and business impact

• Compile test evidence and communicate results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline

• Extensive hands-on experience in software testing for complex digital solutions

• Proven experience as a technical quality authority supporting multidisciplinary teams

• Solid background in functional, regression, and non-functional testing

• Ability to understand business rules derived from functional requirements and translate them into test scenarios

• Proficient in various methodologies and techniques for functional, regression, exploratory, and non-functional testing

• Familiarity with non-functional testing, particularly in performance, security, and usability

• Experience using test and defect management tools, such as Jira

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban)

• Understanding of API and integration testing

• Strong and assertive communication skills for engaging with external clients and Product Owners

• Ability to quickly grasp the business context from requirements

• Collaborative mindset when working with diverse areas and stakeholders

• A sense of ownership and dedication to delivering quality

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Capability to independently drive activities

• Experience with test automation is advantageous

• Familiarity with financial products or Open Finance is a plus
