Senior QA Engineer – Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Conduct tests on intricate integrated web applications covering both UI and API layers

• Create and enhance test plans

• Develop and sustain automated tests, mainly utilizing Cypress

• Work in close collaboration with developers within an Agile framework

• Monitor and manage test cases using JIRA, TestRail, and Qmetry

• Recognize manual testing processes that can be automated for improved reliability and maintainability

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in a senior Manual QA role

• Practical experience in QA automation, including the writing or maintenance of automated UI or API tests

• An automation-focused mindset with proficiency in programming concepts and logical problem-solving

• Familiarity with HTTP, HTML, AJAX, JSON, REST APIs, and client-server architecture

• Basic understanding of SQL

• Proficient in written and spoken English

• Ability to communicate fluently in Russian or Ukrainian

• Preferred: hands-on experience with Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium

• Preferred: knowledge of CI/CD systems

• Preferred: experience with Agile methodologies

• Preferred: familiarity with JIRA, TestRail, and Qmetry

• Preferred: basic knowledge of Linux and Ubuntu command line

• Preferred: basic understanding of Git
