Senior QA Engineer – Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Conduct testing on intricate web applications, focusing on both UI and API layers.

• Create and enhance comprehensive test plans.

• Write and sustain automated tests, primarily utilizing Cypress.

• Work collaboratively with developers within an Agile framework.

• Monitor and handle test cases using JIRA, TestRail, and Qmetry.

• Recognize manual testing processes that can be automated to enhance reliability and maintainability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience as a Senior Manual QA.

• Practical experience in writing or maintaining automated tests for both UI and API scenarios.

• An automation-focused mindset with a solid grasp of programming concepts and logical problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with HTTP, HTML, AJAX, JSON, REST APIs, and client-server architecture.

• Basic understanding of SQL.

• Strong proficiency in written and spoken English.

• Ability to communicate fluently in Russian or Ukrainian.

• Preferred: hands-on experience with Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.

• Preferred: knowledge of CI/CD systems.

• Preferred: familiarity with Agile methodology.

• Preferred: experience with JIRA, TestRail, and Qmetry.

• Preferred: basic understanding of Linux (Ubuntu command line).

• Preferred: fundamental knowledge of Git.
