Senior QA Engineer – Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Execute UI and API testing for intricate integrated web applications

• Create and enhance test plans

• Develop and sustain automated tests, predominantly utilizing Cypress

• Collaborate closely with developers within an Agile framework

• Monitor and manage test cases through JIRA, TestRail, and Qmetry

• Recognize manual testing processes that can be automated to improve reliability and maintainability

• Initially concentrate on manual QA, with an anticipated mid-term distribution of approximately 70% automation and 30% manual testing

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience as a Manual QA at a senior level

• Practical experience with QA automation, including the development or maintenance of automated tests for UI or API scenarios

• Automation-focused mindset with proficiency in programming concepts and logical problem-solving skills

• Familiarity with HTTP, HTML, AJAX, JSON, REST APIs, and client-server architecture

• Basic understanding of SQL

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; interviews are conducted in English

• Ability to communicate fluently in Russian or Ukrainian

• Preferred: hands-on experience with Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium

• Preferred: knowledge of CI/CD systems

• Preferred: experience with Agile methodologies

• Preferred: familiarity with JIRA, TestRail, and Qmetry

• Preferred: basic understanding of Linux and Ubuntu command line

• Preferred: basic knowledge of Git
