Senior QA Automation Engineer, Playwright/TypeScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop automated UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing for essential healthcare and transactional processes.

• Embed dependable automated test execution within GitHub-centric CI/CD pipelines.

• Set standards for test architecture, data handling, reporting, failure analysis, and managing test flakiness.

• Examine failures and collaborate with the engineering team to enhance product testability.

• Transform high-priority regression scenarios into sustainable automated test coverage.

• Evaluate automation contributions and assist current QA engineers in enhancing their automation capabilities.

• Establish and communicate automation metrics, such as reliability, execution duration, critical flow coverage, and reduction of manual regression.

• Collaborate closely with the QA Team Lead and engineering team to refine automation methodologies.

• Design the company's automation framework from the ground up.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of practical experience in test automation employing contemporary automation frameworks.

• Significant commercial experience in developing and sustaining UI and API automation.

• Production experience with Playwright and TypeScript.

• Proficient in designing fixtures, reusable components, test data, environment setup, reporting, and parallel execution.

• Experience in diagnosing unstable tests and enhancing suite stability and execution speed.

• Familiarity with integrating automated tests into CI/CD, preferably using GitHub Actions.

• Strong proficiency in Git and pull-request workflows.

• Capability to test REST/GraphQL APIs and intricate third-party integrations.

• Practical skills in SQL/MySQL for verification and test data preparation.

• Proficient in utilizing AI coding tools for test implementation, debugging, refactoring, and test-data generation, along with independently reviewing the generated code.

• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency or higher for daily technical communication and documentation.

• Bonus: experience in testing healthcare-related products, medical platforms, or healthcare workflows.
