• Conduct API and microservice testing in conjunction with UI evaluations.
• Collaborate on BDD initiatives alongside analysts, developers, and clients.
• Identify and resolve flaky and intermittent failures, focusing on root cause analysis rather than simply adding retries.
• Leverage AI coding agents to enhance the efficiency of test design, authoring, and maintenance, while meticulously validating their outputs.
• Establish protocols for AI-assisted and agent-driven testing within the project, including the creation of instruction files, reusable prompts, and review checkpoints.
• Expand automation coverage into mobile platforms as project requirements evolve, with necessary support.
• Mentor colleagues and disseminate effective practices within the QA community.
• Clearly communicate quality risks and technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Work autonomously, manage your own tasks, and influence the practices of the team and the broader QA community.
• Over 5 years of experience in test automation, including a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Playwright using TypeScript/JavaScript in a production environment.
• Deep understanding of Playwright’s core functionalities: fixtures, locator strategies, auto-waiting, network interception and mocking, trace-based debugging, and parallel execution.
• Experience in testing responsive and mobile web applications with Playwright, including device emulation, viewport handling, touch interactions, and cross-browser testing.
• Proven track record in defining and implementing framework architecture.
• Experience in API automation and microservices testing, including the use of HTTP and network inspection tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes using any major pipeline tool.
• Practical experience with BDD in an Agile team environment.
• Working knowledge of AI-assisted practices, including generating tests with AI and recognizing tests that pass but do not provide meaningful validation.
• Willingness to question and challenge assumptions from a testing perspective, along with a desire to quickly become a subject-matter expert.
• Hands-on experience with native mobile automation on iOS and/or Android, preferably using Appium with WebdriverIO.
• Experience with alternative automation stacks, such as Selenium-based frameworks or non-JS frameworks.
• Experience in building or orchestrating multi-step AI agent workflows for test generation, execution, or triage.
• Exposure to performance or cloud testing.
• Experience in mentoring, giving conference talks, or blogging.
• Competitive compensation package.
• Flexibility with options for remote and hybrid work (dependent on country).
• Opportunities for career advancement, including international mobility and professional development programs.
• Access to learning and development resources, including cutting-edge tools, training, and industry experts.
• Benefits tailored to specific locations.
• Reasonable accommodations provided during the interview process.
