Senior QA Automation Engineer – AWS, Salesforce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Design and execute an automated testing framework that encompasses the AWS-hosted web application and associated Salesforce native workflows.

• Automate comprehensive user journeys that traverse both cloud web UI and Salesforce, including deployment processes and metadata backups.

• Develop robust Salesforce Lightning UI tests capable of managing dynamic ID alterations and Shadow DOM components using UTAM, Playwright, or other enterprise testing tools.

• Construct API automation suites that validate real-time data integrations, webhooks, and secure queues between AWS and Salesforce.

• Incorporate automated test suites into Git-based CI/CD pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in QA Automation Engineering, particularly with complex enterprise integrations.

• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Lightning architecture, including metadata, security models, and developer workflows.

• Proficient in code-first automation tools (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium) OR possess extensive expertise in Salesforce-specific automated testing systems (Provar, ACCELQ, or UTAM framework).

• Strong proficiency in REST API testing.

• Excellent command of SOQL queries for direct verification of the Salesforce database.

• Significant experience in establishing automated test steps within CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, or cloud developer tools).
