Senior QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and execute automation scripts for web applications and APIs utilizing Postman or Pactum.

• Establish test plans and create scenarios employing BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) with Gherkin syntax.

• Incorporate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to guarantee quality with each deployment.

• Detect, log, and monitor the resolution of defects using tools like Jira or Kanbanize.

• Engage actively in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and refinement sessions.

• Work collaboratively with developers and Product Owners to establish acceptance criteria.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in at least one programming language, such as JavaScript.

• Familiarity with industry-standard test automation tools.

• Strong understanding of Postman, Pactum, or Swagger for backend service validation.

• Proficiency in SQL querying for data validation and ensuring information integrity.

• Fluent in Git usage, including GitFlow.

• Knowledge of Appium and mobile test automation on a Device Farm is advantageous.

• Prior experience with banking systems or payment methods is a plus.

• Awareness of Security by Design practices and vulnerability analysis tools is a plus.
