This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Become a part of the Central Quality Engineering Function.
• Act as a representative for the Software Developers in Test team, collaborating with product teams to integrate quality throughout the development process.
• Lead the implementation of scalable, contemporary testing methods, automation, infrastructure, reporting, and best practices.
• Contribute to the quality strategy for a rapidly expanding SaaS platform.
• Enhance the test pyramid by transitioning validation efforts from the UI to lower levels of testing.
• Boost the stability and speed of end-to-end tests through improvements in test data setup, test isolation, and execution reliability.
• Optimize CI/CD and developer workflows, minimizing flaky tests and excessive noise.
• Advocate for actionable test-failure signals and streamline feedback loops.
• Assist with functional testing and roadmap-driven features and enhancements.
• Engage in all phases of testing utilizing agentic testing capabilities and AI Test Harnesses.
• Monitor and enhance DORA-related quality metrics, including test coverage, defect trends, test effectiveness, execution health, flakiness, and regression rates.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives covering design, planning, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and incident reviews.
• Share testing methodologies with developers and fellow SDETs.
• Embrace an AI-first mindset within quality engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in Quality Engineering teams within modern SaaS or platform organizations in cloud-native environments (AWS).
• Proficiency in scaling automated testing infrastructure, including integration with modern CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Workflows).
• Understanding of testing strategies and tools across the testing pyramid, from unit to end-to-end, including API contract and integration testing (Cypress, Pact, K6).
• Strong front-end knowledge and fluency in testing HTML/CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Familiarity with observability tools and best practices for enhancing test signal and pipeline feedback loops.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills with the ability to influence engineering and product stakeholders.
• A collaborative testing mindset across multiple platforms.
• Experience leading testing initiatives for distributed teams in various regions.
• Experience integrating QA tools such as Zephyr Scale and on-prem CI/CD systems (GitHub).
• A strategic growth mindset and eagerness to learn and mentor others with a practical, systemic approach.
• A strong interest and knowledge of AI-powered testing tools like CoPilot, Devin, and Claude is a plus.
