Senior QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable end-to-end automation frameworks utilizing Playwright or Selenium for intricate web applications and APIs.

• Integrate Anthropic Claude or other LLMs into the testing suite to create self-healing scripts, validate non-deterministic UI, and automate test data generation.

• Utilize prompt engineering and LLM APIs to automate repetitive QA tasks, enhance test coverage, and manage dynamic content validation.

• Monitor defects, oversee regression suites, and manage sprint tasks within Linear.

• Incorporate automated test execution pipelines into CI/CD workflows such as GitHub Actions and GitLab CI.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and data scientists to identify risks early and establish validation strategies.

• Guide and inspire a team of engineers.

• Champion software quality initiatives and ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software products in an Agile setting.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software QA automation engineering.

• Proficient in Playwright (TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python).

• Practical experience with Selenium is acceptable if it is backed by a solid understanding of modern testing architectures.

• Proven experience working with Large Language Models, particularly Claude or OpenAI APIs.

• Experience in crafting effective system prompts for technical applications.

• Familiarity with Linear for agile issue tracking, bug lifecycle management, and sprint planning is highly preferred; Jira experience is also acceptable.

• Practical knowledge of integrating automated tests into deployment pipelines.

• Capability to excel in a fast-paced, iterative Agile/Scrum development environment.

• Basic understanding of AI-driven QA methodologies.

• Exposure to self-healing test automation.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a meticulous attention to detail.

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to manage and inspire a team.

• Experience collaborating with team members across different time zones.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future.
